🌿 Recap of the Great Green Run 2024! 🌿
Thank you to everyone who joined the second edition of the Great Green Run on 12 October 2024! Hosted at Marina Barrage and presented by CIMB, this year’s GGR attracted a record-breaking 4,957 eco-conscious runners—a massive jump from last year’s turnout of 3,898!
The event featured nearly 60 sustainable vendors at the vibrant Green Bazaar, almost double from last year’s 30 fiesta partners. With a commitment to sustainability, over 90% of items on-site were non-single-use, and we introduced iconic, eco-friendly medals, crafted entirely in Bhutan from fallen trees and repurposed fabrics for the lanyards.
We’re proud to share that GGR 2024 adopted 4 of the 17 UN SDG Goals and achieved the SEC Eco-Event Certification from the Singapore Environment Council.
